The traditional shaker-style fits well with the rustic style of the house. The rest of the kitchen is neutral in tone with grey porcelain tiles and off-white walls, so the deep Obsidian green cabinets really make an impression. Central to the design is a sociable kitchen island featuring a crisp white quartz worktop, which provides an ideal place for food preparation, as well as an informal eating area. A pair of industrial tractor bar stools sit at one end of the island facing the lake.
